TFS brand DuraTac® brand armored fiber-optic cables feature tight coiled stainless steel tubing within a tough TPU polymer outter sheath that enables the ultimate protection against breakage. Up to 10 times stronger than ordinary tactical fiber cables, they are highly durable and can withstand heavy foot and vehicular traffic, cuts and rodent damage. Yet, they are lightweight and easily transportable. For example, a 500 foot 2 fiber cable reel weighs only 8 lbs and requires half the space of a conventional reel.
