2RU Base Unit contains FOUR individual Media Converters RACK UNIT BASE
Standards: Our gigabit media convertors are compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3u, and 802.3z protocols.
Copper Port (TP): FOUR shielded RJ-45 connector supports 10/100/1000Mbps transmission speeds over Cat5 twisted-pair with typical lengths of 100 meters. They have the auto-negotiation feature for duplex and flow control.
Fiber Port (FX): 2 fiber single mode 9/125 TFS Magnum ODC Socket connects to desired lengths of TFS DuraTAC tactical fiber cable.
Base Unit Power: 120/240 AC 50/60 Cycle Universal Power Supply
Media Unit Power: Each of the four media internal media converters powered by individual 12VDC supplies.
Environment: The gigabit fiber converter have an operating temperature range from -10°C to 55°C and a storage temperature range from -20°C to 85°C. They can withstand humidity from 5% to 90%, non-condensing.
